Yes, it is time for your weekly peek behind the scenes of our feline-centric household.

We’re most of the way through Week #6 since I brought The Cat Now Known as Kinikini home for the first time. He did pretty well for the first month, but in the most recent two weeks he has, well, bloomed! He and Kali have now learned how to get along in the confines of our house without many incidents, which have now become quite unusual. They’ve taken to full speed chases through the living room which can now end without a hiss or snarl. And finding them sleeping on different levels of the same cat tree is priceless.

I guess I can say that they’ve both found their home.

And Mr. Romeo. Well, he’s hanging on. Kali and Kinikini only occasionally harass him, and it’s pretty mild. He puts up with it, and seems to kind of enjoy watching all the action going on around him, albeit from a safe perch. I don’t know how much time he’s got left, but I’m doing my best to keep him comfy and eating. That’s about the best I can do.
