Next Friday will mark two months since Kinikini joined the household. He’s settled in, but that doesn’t mean all is calm.
Kini and Kali get into rough playing in the cardboard box that is now a feature in part of our living room. When they get going, watch out! I intervene occasionally for the sake of good order, although I’m not sure it’s really effective.
And just when I think Ms. Kali is a victim, she flies out of hiding and swats at Kinikini, confusing all of our attempts to push their relationship into familiar categories.
Romeo is a passive, senior citizen observer. Both Kali and Kinikini now stop and pay their respects to the oldster, adding an interesting twist to the developing feline relationships.
In any case, here’s the last week in photos.
[I really shouldn’t write these things late at night or too early in the a.m. Today the link to the photos was bad, and I had to be reminded to correct an error in the text as well….At least now I’ve had my first cup of coffee. That should help.]

Oops – bad link for the Friday pics.
All is forgiven when the kitties are involved, Ian!
Thanks!
Kali and Kini are a hoot! And they’re very sweet too…. while Romeo enjoys his retiremement years in peace and quiet… I just love the Lind Feline Family! Mahalo for sharing Ian.
What is it with cats and cardboard boxes? We have one cat but three different boxes for her. Nice to see Romeo is hanging in there. He’s still a handsome fellow.
Caption for pic #1.
“Enjoy that nice, comfy bed Kali. For now.”
