Some people have said this is their favorite time of the week, the arrival of Feline Friday’s photos, featuring the cats that share our house.
I think the “favorite time” is likely an overstatement, but I appreciate the sentiment. I hope the cats do as well.
This week, I notice more photos caught moments shared by two or three cats. And Romeo has been getting more attention. Kinikini has gone over to keep Romeo company several times, much as Duke used to share the afternoon sun spots with him.
I’ve upped Romeo’s pain meds to the prescribed dose, one pill a day. Actually, the instructions were once every 12 or 24 hours, so he’s still well within the guidelines. He still complains when he’s trying to lay down, and he’ll let out a low yowl, which brings Kinikini running over to see what’s going on.

I didn’t even notice it until I was putting the pictures together to post! She used to do that all the time, now less often. Not sure why.
I just finished reading a book titled Nala’s World, a true story by a Scottish fellow who has been bicycling from country to country with a cat on board that he rescued along the way. It’s quite a tale.
