Yes, it’s Feline Friday, and holiday in Hawaii this week. True, although technically it’s Admission Day, a holiday marking the islands’ transition to statehood. But I won’t explain that to the cats. They enjoy thinking it’s in their honor.
Things to watch for in this week’s photos….Pay attention, and you’ll see several photos with Kinikini and Romeo hanging out near each other, one even shows Romeo getting his head licked, with Kinikini’s tongue visibly at work.
There are also a couple with Kali and Kinikini together. One catches them on our bed as Kali lands a right paw to the face as she tells Kini to back off, then they both retreat to opposite corners of the bed to calm down. And you’ll notice Kinikini casually claiming spots of sun in the living room throughout the day. He’s very good at locating and occupying them.
And, generally, the cats are looking good this week!

Kinikini’s primordial pouch is looking fuller these days! He’s eating well, I’m sure!! It’s so sweet to see him getting along so well with Romeo. Kali’s a sweetie but still has a bit of the toughie in her…love it!!
You’ve got the right of it! Both Kinikini and Kali are eating too well these days, while I struggle to keep Romeo eating.
