Here comes your Feline Friday!

This week’s photos include several of Romeo with either Kinikini or Kali. Those two appear to understand Romeo isn’t doing well, and they seem to arrive on the scene as needed to provide support, comfort, and companionship when he needs it. It’s a bit of cat behavior that surprises me, especially since these two both lived outdoors in a colony before joining our household.

In any case, here are the cats!

I believe it’s the rescued, formerly free roaming cats that are the most loving and appreciative of a new chance in a warm, loving home.

The photos of the park kitties and Romeo are absolutely heart warming.

Wild chickens and cat colonies in Hawaii. Surprising they co-exist.
My parents had a cat that kept vigil when a beloved dogs was failing.
Joby stayed close all night till the next morning when a human came.
The dog had died and the faithful cat was sitting upright, waiting for the undertaker.

My 90 year old mom has a care kitty named Bella. Bella is actually my brother in-law’s cat. Bella knows when my mom needs a snuggle and jumps up on her bed. Bella brings her birds, lizards and earthworms. She is quite the huntress. We are so happy to call Bella family
