But here it comes! Better late than never, as they say.
Kali and Kinikini visited the vet this week. Kali had her first annual checkup. All good at this point, and she even lost half a pound, although we were told she should still lose another half pound. And Kinikini just had his claws trimmed. They had gotten to the “dangerous weapon” stage, and he still hasn’t let me clip them myself. Hopefully we’ll get that worked out at some point.
We inherited two cans of K/D canned cat food meant for cats with kidney problems. Romeo turned out to like this variety, chicken paté. So I dutifully bought case, and luckily Romeo is still eating more than he’s leaving. I’ve got a culinary arsenal of baby food, several varieties of Fancy Feast seafood, some dry K/D, and then these cans. There’s usually something I can get Romeo to eat. Often he’ll eat a little and then walk away. I wait for a while, then take the dish to wherever he’s now sitting, and offer it again. Two times out of three, he then polishes it off. Whatever it takes, is my view.
Anyway, here come the cats.
