Well, ready or not, here it comes!
My major impression of the past week is the almost constant struggle to get Romeo to eat. I’ve got supplies of the various foods that he has shown interest in recently, but the problem is selecting one that he will eat at any given time. He’ll love one in the morning, but refuse to even look at a serving of the same food later in the day. He’s hungry, which I know because he comes over, stands next to where I’m sitting, and scratches my leg to let me know he wants to eat. But even though he’s got an appetite, actually eating doesn’t necessarily follow. I know where we’re heading, and I’m dreading the decision that’s probably going to have to be made sooner rather than later.
But, as you’ll see once again in this week’s photos, Kinikini and Ms. Kali have stepped up to offer aid and comfort. When Romeo cries, they come running. When he’s enjoying a bit of afternoon sun, one or the other will sleep with him. They’ve been heroes.
Anyway, here’s yet another week in the ongoing adventure of Romeo, Kali, and Kinikini.

I’m so sorry that Romeo is having such a rough time…. please give him an extra cuddle from me.
It’s good Romeo has a empathetic group of humans and felines to support him.
Are his teeth healthy?
Not many teeth left. But a perceptive guess. One of his issues is a growth in his mouth, which causes some discomfort.
