Wednesday afternoon marked the end of Bessie’s third full week with us. Wow!

You’ll see in the photos that this was the week of Kali and Bessie. Somehow they ended up together an awful lot, it was far too noticeable to be random.

In any case, Bessie has integrated herself into the hierarchy. She’s assertive, but deferential when necessary. There hasn’t been a single fight, and only a handful of face-to-face meetings that required some hissing. Very few. This process has been remarkably seamless, and I suppose Bessie gets most of the credit, but they all share the spotlight.
