Here’s my favorite photo from this mornings walk at dawn.
It was taken on the beach fronting the Kahala Hotel just a couple of minutes before the sun appeared. In the distance, starting at the left, is Koko Head. Immediately next to it is the faint shadow of the east end of Molokai, the high end of the island. Most of the lower part of the island, closest to Oahu, was obscured by clouds. Then you see the outline of Maui, and finally, to the right, just the highest elevation on Lanai.

Almost all of the photos that i post are with one of my cameras (I rotate through four favorites, and have another that I sometimes travel with). I’ll occasionally use my iPhone when I have gone out and forgotten to bring a camera along, or when I’m in the house and the phone is the closest camera.
