What can I say? It’s been a typical week. I did get a photo (actually a series of photos) when Kali came to touch noses with Kinikini. Usually this would end up in one or the other getting smacked in the face, but this time they both let the opportunity pass peacefully. That doesn’t happen too often, to tell the truth.

Bessie, who joined the household last December, continues to be the odd cat left out of the Kini-Kali coalition in their triad. I keep hoping that time will overcome this rift, which really isn’t that deep. It’s just that when Kini feels the need to assert his authority and pick on someone, she is the usual target. It means that I try to keep a squirt bottle nearby to let a little “rain” interrupt those chases.
