Feline Friday rides again!
The week was uneventful except that yesterday, Kinikini started sneezing.
The sneezes came in one after another, four, five, six sneezes. Something in his left nostril seemed to be causing the problem.
We have to watch Kinikini carefully because he is FIV positive. A little infection can turn into a life-threatening issue, as we understand it.
I was watching for any additional symptom that might indicate an upper respiratory infection, something cats are prone to, but luckily none appeared. I was worried by his lack of activity through most of the afternoon, and then realized all three of the cats were enjoying a period of deep sleep, so that bit of worry lifted. And by early evening, the sneezing seemed to have stopped, and he was working off a lot of energy, chasing imaginary prey in the hallway after chasing Kali back into “her” rooom, and considering whether to try to bully Bessie again. And the sneezing seems to have stopped. Nothing overnight or so far this morning. Back to normal!
Without further ado, the cats. Kali, the senior feline and first calico. Kinikini, the man of the house. And Ms. Bessie, the sweetest #2 calico.

Beautiful, happy felines. I hope that sneezing stops.
This is one of the few things I checked on loyally while I was on my recent trip to Asia. So glad I tuned out the US “Clown Count” (aka “elections”) while I was gone.
