I know. I know. I feel your pain.
This morning I submitted my latest story, which is likely to be published tomorrow over at Civil Beat.
I struggled with that story yesterday, and just didn’t have time to get it together for Feline Friday.
But Feline Friday on Saturday should be coming soon. Well, after lunch, Hawaiian time. And Hawaiian time can be, well, a bit iffy.
It will be posted here before the end of the afternoon.

Fine things come to those who wait!
Miske updates are not exactly breaking news that can’t wait for one more day. Not as if anyone else is on the beat. Not as if CB could replace you. Not as if whatever freelance money CB offers for your work comes close to compensating you fairly for your time investment.
Cat blogging first. Thug blogging after.
You are correct in most of that. But here’s the thing. When I get to that stage, my is tightly focus on keeping the elements of the story together in my brain while putting the pieces together, and then editing until the flow of words flows like I think it should. And at that point I want to get it done so that I can relax. I’ve got to push it through, although normally I time it better so that I’m able to avoid interfering with Feline Friday!

Maybe have a stock of pre-written Feline Friday posts for days like that? It’s not as if we are checking the EXIF data to call you out, haha. “We want pics of that cat sitting on today’s S-A, or it’s fake news!”
