Friends took us over to the Dashe Cellars winery on Saturday afternoon for a bit of wine tasting. Dashe is located in an old hanger at Alameda Point, formerly the Naval Air Station Alameda, which was closed in 1997. They have a wine club with various perks, including discounts on tastings.
This was the view of the San Francisco skyline from an outdoor seating area just outside the main Dashe building, looking across an abandoned runway as the fog was rollling in.

That’s a great view of the City from a new perspective Ian…. it looks ominous, but from where my children live in Brisbane, the fog eventually burned off and we had a beautiful day. Safe travels!
The photo was taken in the late afternoon, a bit after 5 p.m.
Great photo of the SF Skyline. Thanks for visiting Dashe cellars.
And thanks for making all those great wines!
What a beautiful view of Califrisco! Blessings
