A few minutes after this photo was taken, a light rain swept in from off to the left. Light at first, then heavier. We turned around and headed for home. It rained for most of the next hour, although it might be starting to clear now.

I have lived in Hawaii for almost 50 years, and I can’t remember a summer like this. Usually, it’s hot and dry but for the month of June and now going into July, it rains every day. I’m not complaining. It just seems unusual.
I agree with you. Our lawn still has a tinge of green as does the pasture across the street. We were really enjoying the late afternoon showers last week. Today it rained mid morning while I was shopping in Laie.
