Well, we’re traveling, and I didn’t have time to set up this week’s Feline Friday before we left home.
So I dug back into long-ago photos of long-gone cats.
These go back to 2001, and were gathered together in 2012, predating Feline Friday by several years. When did Feline Friday first appear? I don’t know. That’s another research project.
In any case, enjoy this flashback. Miki, our first calico, was adopted in December 1986, about 18 months before we moved to Kaaawa. The rest were all Kaaawa rescues. Each one was special. All eight of them.

Appreciate your cat journal and images. Yesterday we were adopted by a little kitten. This is kitten number 6 that has just shown up at our door step in the past 10 years. I think the farmer across the street may be the source. We have 4 adult cats and we will be adopting this little out. If anyone is interested please let me know
