A last minute Feline Friday

Last minute because, well, it’s still Friday afternoon here, and still Friday night if you’re on eastern time.

But it’s actually a “first minute” for Feline Friday!

We arrived home about 7:30 or so on Valentine’s Day.

Our cat sitter had given us a series of reports during the week we had been gone.

Kinikini, our big orange tabby who retains the wariness learned while living outdoors in a cat colony across town, had stayed out of sight the entire week. Kali, the plump calico, didn’t stay hidden, but just watched from a safe distance. It was Bessie, calico #2, that soaked up all the attention and had many sessions of brushing, even enjoying treats like regular Churu servings (if you don’t know about Churu, check them out, your cats will thank you!).

As we got to the door into the house from the garage, we wondered what was going to happen.

So here’s the first minute. No, actually something closer to 45 seconds, as we made our entrance.

Sweet to see how happy they are to have you back home.
    Must be mutual.
Even I go out for a short time
Epuni and Mandu stand like little orphans with pittyfull faces at the door but giving me a warm welcome mixed with complains for my absence.
    Enjoy your weekend

Where the heck was Bessie? I saw Cali (?) take a swipe at Kinikini ! They must be lost without you. You have a good system of return after absence.

Bessie was splayed out across the room on “her” chair, still basking in the afterglow of all the attention from our cat sitter. Since Kali and Kinikini didn’t come out and interact, Bessie soaked up all the attention while we were gone.
