Our recent mainland trip disrupted Feline Friday for several weeks.

But we’re back, and Feline Friday is back!

The only real news is that Kali and Kinikini have worked out a way to share our bed.

Kini had been absolute ruler of the bed for the nearly three years since he joined our household. If Kali jumped on the bed, he would let her know that it was not a good idea. If necessary, he would charge and send her fleeing.

But over the past couple of months, this has gradually changed. On many nights, they find it possible to sleep side-by-side, perhaps not touching but coming pretty close.

However, the bedroom is still off limits for Bessie, even though there’s less bullying of her over the course of a normal day.

And the cats are all enjoying the low angle of the sun in the afternoon, which creates more sunny areas at the sliding doors out to the back deck.

So…drum roll…here come the cats.
