Here’s a question that came in response to yesterday’s post about those still free after pleading guilty: “So everyone is out except Miske and two self proclaim idiots?”
Another simple answer: No. Six of the original twelve co-defendants are behind bars pending sentencing. Two of the six are being held in undisclosed locations for their own safety. And Miske, of course, is still being held in Honolulu’s Federal Detention Center.
I did a quick tally of the co-defendants, and think I’ve got it straight. All have pleaded guilty. Two have been sentenced. Others are awaiting sentencing, which will not occur until after the trial is over. By that time, it will be clear whether they have lived up to their agreements to cooperate and testify truthfully at Miske’s trial, if requested by the government.
Where are Miske’s former co-defendants now?
Mike Miske – FDC (Federal Detention Center)
John Stancil – FDC pending sentencing
Lance Bermudez – Detained in undisclosed location
Preston Kimoto – FDC pending sentencing
Michael Buntenbah – FDC pending sentencing
Harry Kauhi – Detained in undisclosed location

Jason Yokoyama – Released pending sentencing
Delia Fabro-Miske – Released pending sentencingJarrin Young – Sentenced to time served and released
