The cats are here. Again.

Bessie was very upset at having to return to the v-e-t yesterday for a simple recheck on her mouth. On the drive home, I was seriously worried she was going to somehow break out of her carrier. She was seriously attacking it. Luckily, we all got home quickly, and she settled down as soon as she was freed. Whew. A crying cat thumping around in her cat carrier next to the driver is a good medicine for low blood pressure.

Meanwhile, you’ll see a snapshot of Kinikini on his way down the stairs into our garage. It’s his new trick, sneaking past us as we’re carrying groceries into the house. We now have to be careful to let the garage door close completely before negotiating the door. He’s just super curious about what’s on the other side of the door leading from the house into the garage. As long as the garage door closes, he can’t get into too much trouble as he processes all the different smells.

Luckily, although he’s eager to get “out” into the garage, he also gets scared quickly. If I just leave him out there for 90 second or so, he is usually equally eager to get back inside after a minute or two.

Anyway, here come the cats!
