Bessie still has my heart. Altho I have seen the other two for a moment, Bessie is so very lovable.
Thanks for these great photos.
I did a double-take at the photo of Kinikini stretched out on the floor in greeting. I had to switch back and forth between this week’s photo and the one of him in exactly the same pose last Friday. They are different, really. Look at the position of his front paws, and his eyes. But it’s almost exactly the same pose, a week or so apart.
I thought it was slightly different but I didn’t compare. I assumed it was just my memory
Love the shot of Kinikini under the chair!
When my Pepper does that stretched out pose, especially if she rolls around, it’s an invitation to rub her belly. Have never had a cat that would let me rub its belly, but Pepper is very loving and trusting of us.
Mahalo for an Aloha Friday dose of kitty love! Do you happen to know why Kinikini has a notch in each ear?
Yes. All of our current three cats were successfully adopted from a cat colony on the other side of Honolulu, where they were being cared for by several people. The notched ear is a widely recognized signal that the cat has been “fixed” and vaccinated.
