Jurors in the trial of former Kamaaina Termite and Pest Control owner, Michael J. Miske Jr., sent their first communication to the Judge Derrick Watson just an hour after starting their deliberations on Monday morning, July 15.
The note asked whether they could receive the trial exhibits in digital form, rather than the printed copies that fill multiple large binders. The binders, which have been visible in court during the trial, are large, heavy, and unwieldy.
“It will expedite searching for them,” the jury foreman wrote.
