Okay. Truth is I thought I had set up this Feline Friday in advance to be posted automatically very early in the day. Obviously, I may have intended to do it but, like more than a few tasks, never got around to it exempt in my head.

But, even though a little late, this Feline Fridayh is worth it. You’ll see Kiko displaying her obsession with a new toy, which features a colored plastic ball that spins around the track of a cool cardboard gizmo. She knows that she should be able to kill it, and returns often to give it yet another try.

The last photo in this week’s set shows Kiko and Bessie birdwatching in the late afternoon. They are both mesmerized by the birds, and sit patiently for a couple of hours with an occasional lunge toward the window.

Bessie has a greater presence this week, in case you were worried about her.

And Kiko is a lot happier after going to the vet to have her claws trimmed.

All in all, a good week for the cats.
