This week it was a special box. It contained several sets of new bath towels, and the box was a little bigger than usual. As soon as we pulled out the towels, it became a cat magnet.

Ms. Kali was the first to assume the “in the box” position. I spiced it up by tossing a red catnip toy in there with her. Kali immediately took the bait. And the resulting sounds coming from the box quickly attracted Kiko and Kinikini. And the camera!

Time spent in and around the box did drop significantly over the next several days. Yes, it sat in the middle of the room for day.

It was a little sad to finally have to tear the box apart and take it out for recycling!

Hopefully the cats will get over it.
