Dawn and dogs. That’s our regular morning routine most mornings. Walk to the beach to watch the sunrise, and if we’re lucky, we run into several of our favorite early morning dogs.

And the newest addition to the pack, Jake, the energetic toy poodle puppy, is demanding to be front and center. Today he was jumping all over Tucker, taking Tucker’s ball away from him (despite some warning barks from the usually silent Tucker), and in constant motion looking for mischief to get into. But, oh, he is so very, very cute!

I think you’ll agree.

It’s the day after Christmas, but officially still Christmas for federal employees and others who get this federal holiday off work.

The weather was better this morning. The rain stayed offshore. The result was a nice walk and quite a few of our canine friends. That’s Marvin, featured below.

It was another spectacular dawn, and there was also a wild assembly of happy, smiling dogs, including a pair of small white dogs, one a senior citizen and the other about 4 year old. And, of course, I’ve failed to get their names. There was also a totally new dog, a bit shy, but it saw treats being distributed and got right in line!

In any case, I’m working on a post (coming soon) about another Miske rumor, this time that the alleged racketeering boss was also an FBI informant. I may not post it tomorrow, given that it’s Christmas, but more likely you’ll find it here on Monday morning.
