Saturday morning dogs–Not our usual crew

This turned out to be a good photo morning.

First, there was the sunrise.

And then came the dogs!

With the exception of Coco, the beautiful German Shepherd who has been an irregular regular (does that make sense?), the others are newcomers. We have been introduced to Moose on one previous occasion. He is a neighbor of Jet, who is a regular. I don’t have names yet for the other two newbies, one that was hard at play with Coco, and the other amazing doodle that now lives at the end of our street. We’ve been told his mother was a Standard Poodle, and his father was a Rottweiler. Needless to say, he is a beautiful dog and very full of energy!

In any case, do enjoy.

Not our usual crew....

Thursday dawn and dogs

It’s twilight when we leave the house each morning, and we have no idea what’s to come. Will it be a colorful dawn? Will it be a day the colors seem to hang in the sky forever, or will they appear and then fade in a matter of minutes? Will we run into any of our canine friends? Perhaps many? Do we have enough doggy treats to make it through our various encounters? But at least we know the sun will rise and, even if there’s stormy weather, we’ll eventually get a glimpse of it.

Anyway, enjoy these snippets of our Thursday morning walk.

A Saturday placeholder: Dawn and dogs

It’s still been dark when we’ve gotten to the beach park in the mornings, which made for “noisy” photos that showed too much digital “grain” that I had to deal with.

So this morning I took a different camera, better at low light, but with a fixed wide-angle lens. Everything’s a tradeoff in this world.

In any case, there turned out to be quite a few dogs this morning.

Enjoy. Both the dawn and the dogs.

I’ll get back to more substantive posts soon.
