For today’s Feline Friday, a look back at Ms. Wally’s life.
We’re recovering from the shock of her sudden death yesterday morning after she collapsed on the floor of the kitchen as we were getting ready to go out on our daily walk. We didn’t make it on the walk. Wally didn’t make it until dawn.
Wally and Kili were lucky that we arrived on the scene along Kahekili Highway early on a Saturday morning in 1998, just in time to rescue them from certain death after the were dumped out of a moving car onto the road. And we were very lucky to have found and adopted them, because they have been wonderful cats through the years.
So here’s a little compilation of photos pulled randomly from Wally’s long life.

Ms. Wally was a beautiful cat. She had a wonderful face–what a compelling gaze!
Lovely video of Ms. Wally, seeing her in her younger full furred fat and sassy days. You and Meda bless Wally and Kili when you saved thier lives . They in turn blessed you with thier companionship. That truly is a wonderful life.
My condolences on your loss. At least you were spared the necessity of making the decision. Our 17+ year old guy had been in decline for 3 or 4 months. Then last week the decline became a dive and it became apparent that we needed to make that last trip to the vet.
Thanks for sharing the photos of your regal Ms. Wally. People who don’t love cats just miss out on so much in their lives.
You did an awesome job of compiling Ms Wally’s life for the rest of us to see. Thanks for always sharing your time with Ms Wally and others. It is a highlight in my week!
