While over at The Big Tent on Monday, I struck up a conversation with someone downstairs. Turned out it was Steve Myers, news editor for the Poynter Institute, who is covering both the Democratic and Republican conventions.
You can read Steve’s resulting story here (with photo!). It’s a good story, apart from a couple of jumbled facts in my case (iLind.net actually began back in 1999, and is now getting about 8,500 unique visitors a month with some 25,000+ total visits. But I’m not quibbling. He did a good job considering we were standing next to the soon-to-be-open beer garden in the basement below the tent.

I was wondering when you were going to get interviewed by someone – when I was covering larger sports events, eventually we all run out of “real people” to cover and end up interviewing each other. I’m surprised – given your background and state, you’re a natural target.
