I don’t know if I’ll make it through a full entry today.

I’ve been in bed for 16 of the past 17 hours. Sounds ideal, but this fever meant none of it was restful. And then my back started hurting and I had to keep shifting positions to be comfortable. Then the sounds of cats fighting somewhere nearby got me out of bed. Silverman is outside. Perhaps Ms. Annie as well. Other cats scurrying around the house wondering if they have to defend their turf. Hopefully not.

Meda’s also afflicted. Her symptoms were several hours behind mine. So we’re both wrecks.

Hopefully, I’ll return to this a bit later this morning with at least a somewhat clear head.
