Another WordPress mystery afoot.
I’ve heard from several people who report having trouble leaving comments on this site. They say they either aren’t given an opportunity to log in as a registered user, or their password is rejected.
Others don’t have the same issues, since some comments are being posted.
So what’s going on? I wish I knew.
You can help by letting me know if your attempts to comment have been rebuffed by the system.
Email me and let me know what kind of computer you’re using, what operating system, and which browser software. Describe what happens when you try to comment. If I can get a few examples, maybe I can figure out the source of the issues.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Ian. Happy New Year. Looks like I was able to log in. I don’t know if my own wordpress blog is blocking comments, but if it comes up, I’ll share information with you. Glad the early morning thunder and lightning show didn’t result in a loss of power for us. Here’s to a kind and gentle 2009.
Theory, if readers who can’t log in are on Windows Vista: Vista seems to manage memory very poorly. If many tabs are open on a browser or if other apps are running, the browser may simply not be able to do the next thing on a web page. In other words, it may not be anything wrong with your WordPress blog at all.
