It happened last night sometime.

The counter on this page passed 1,600,000.

That’s the number of visits since the old clunker of a counter was installed in November 1999. Back before “blog” was a common word, and when I was hand-coding each day’s entry. Years before switching to blog software.

The last milestone, 1.5 million, was reached at the end of May. At this pace, the count will be close to 1.7 million by the end of this year.
