We spent much of New Year’s Day around the corner feasting at the home of Pe’a, Jack, and the “puppies”, Sadie and Reilly, now less than two weeks short of their first birthday.

But they are also just a lot of dog. Actually, our friends discovered, too much dog at times.

So Ms. Sadie is going to join a new family on the other side of the island. She’s going to be an only dog, at least for now, who will get all the attention and care she needs.

It’s sad to see her go, but it’s probably best for all concerned, or so they say.
