I’ve been going back and forth with my hosting service, HostRocket, for hours trying to restore full access to this site. It appears to have been successfully accomplished.

First, the whole site went down.

Then it appeared to be restored, but the comments database has not been available.

Repairing or restoring the comments was the last step.
