At least they deliver to Hawaii to begin with. It could be worse. I ordered a netbook battery and a cell car charger from Amazon. They were able to deliver the battery to Hawaii but not the much smaller car charger. Go figure.

Part of the long, strange saga of Amazon’s policy on shipping to Hawaii. A search for “Amazon.com” on this site should bring up the earlier go-arounds on this.
There’s a rumor that Best Buy may have them available. In Hawaii? Don’t know. If so, you can go look at one, at least. Or come watch me use my HP Tablet PC, my friend and companion all these years, and still better than an iPad.
Or maybe they’re pulling an April Fools joke on you and it will actually arrive on time.
I opted to pick mine up at the Apple Store at Ala Moana. Shipping can be an odd thing.
In retrospect, a brilliant move!

I’m sitting on my hands trying to wait for the 3G model.

I got mine today. I love it. Cross between iPhone and Mac Book. No thinking. Just have fun. Wifi is perfect. Test tested the 4 G and it works too. JL.
I don’t think I could stand to wait the two extra days while everyone else is having fun. This is the coolest gadget I have ever seen. JL.
Don’t wait for 3 G. Just go Wifi and get the mobile 4G hotspot. Unless you want to wait for the $15.00 month 3G plan. Then that is okay.
