This photo was taken this morning (Thursday), during part of our walk where I didn’t have to huddle under my umbrella.
At first, I thought I would like the B&W version the best. But a few tweaks to the color version and my resolve wavered.
Any thoughts from readers would be appreciated.

Great pictures. I think i prefer the colored one. But both are really nice.
I was initially partial to the b&w one, but I think the color image makes the clouds and mountain in the background pop out much more clearly.

do you need 2 hands to take a pic? When I was in Macau, it rained all day. I held my umbrella in my left hand, while aiming my camera with my right hand. My Canon Powershot was small enough to do that.
I actually kinda like the b/w one better.
b/w has a nice vintage feel to it but the color shot has an artsy feel (with sepia and added color schemes) that makes it stand out. nice work!
Not many contrasts to make the B/W pop but I, too, like the “vintage” feel of the B/W and, with the exception of the green lawn, the colors in the other are not striking enuf to make me prefer it.
yes. i prefer the negroid one, two.
how ’bout sepia tone? My fave next to tri-X
I think the color photo does more by showing off the many colors in the clouds and sky as said already above. *nods*
i like the color one.
The first one was shot in the 60s. The second one was shot the other day. Or that’s kinda how it looks. I love the capabilities my photo apps on my iPhone provide me. Anyway, I would have to say that the b&w doesn’t betray the ominousness of the weather as much as the color one does. So to me the truer photo is the color one.
The glowing green lawn is pretty irresistable.
