This was the view several days ago just after dawn in Kaaawa. Just a reminder of why we walk down to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise. It’s become a routine after nearly 15 years of the daily 3-mile walks. Some days don’t deliver a colorful sunrise, others are wet and somewhat miserable. But you never know. That intermittent reinforcement is probably what drives us every day.
