Welcome to information warfare?

I received an email from Evan Tector suggesting that it’s time to look at the Wikileaks controversy through a different lens.

He writes:

Hey Ian,

Many may not realize the nature of what is starting to happen. Info Wars: The world is now enmeshed in the first cyber war between authoritarian secretive governments and information freedom fighters. This will be used as excuse in the coming crackdowns.

The State Dept. is forbidding any one connected to the Fed. to view or post Wikileaks info and links. They have gone as far as threatening university students that if they want jobs with the Fed. in the future they should not engage the material. Might want to look into and break the perspective.

Some of the many Wikileakz currents:

Payback: Bank That Froze Julian Assange’s Bank Account Has Now Been Taken Down By Hackers

Assange threatens to release ‘poison pill’ if arrested or killed

Twitter is censoring the discussion of #Wikileaks

Ron Paul: Don’t Blame Wikileaks!

Thanks, Evan.
