Time Warner’s new Live TV is being called the iPad’s “Killer App.”

So I was not a happy camper to find this notice tucked away on Oceanic’s web site after several unsuccessful attempts to register for the new service:

IPad TV Streaming – Not Available in Hawaii

To our Oceanic Time Warner Cable customers trying to stream live tv on the Time Warner Cable Ipad App, that feature is not available in Hawaii at this time. We will advise once that feature is enabled. We are currently working to enable this feature and appreciate your patience..

Just another bit of time spent in the ditch along the digital highway, I guess.
