Either: (a) Meda and I were so focused on picking up bits of plastic and other trash on the beach that we walked within 10 feet of this critter without even noticing her; or, (b) she swam ashore and settled down in the minute or two it took to walk the short distance to the end of the beach, turn around, and return.
It’s probably the same seal that we’ve seen several times this year along our short stretch of coast.
Anyway, a seal sighting seems like a good way to start off a new week.
