   Kudos to citizens and legislators with foresight who fought to preserve open space for Oahu’s public.

   I was told that Kokololio Beach (Kekela Beach) in Laie was a site for Hawaii Reserves to build condominiums. Camping opportunities would be zero if that had happened.

   Yes, much mahalo to those who fought “the good fight”… Hawaii Reserves will build on anything they can– I think their motto is “Money talks and the public can take a hike!”
