No joke! Kaaawa underwater videographer, Rob Whitton, appears in a National Geographic program tonight.

This note came in earlier today from his wife, Jenny. She says the program will repeat next Sunday.

The three Whitton dogs are regulars featured in photos of our morning walks on the beach in Kaaawa.

Sunday April 1st..Check out the premier of “Dinofish” on National Geographic Wild at 4pm & 7pm Hawaii Time, Channel 561. (Check local TV listings- 10 pm EST)

It features footage of Rob Whitton and Richard Pyle diving with coelocanths off the coast of South Africa.

Look for Rob, he’s the diver/videographer in the black wet suit with blue trim on his arms & legs. Richard is wearing the collared, blue dress shirt…his ‘signature’ dive attire.

Very exciting…who’s ready to dive to 400ft?

It’s scheduled to air again on April 8th if you miss it today….which happens to be Rob’s birthday too!
