Mr. Silverman is a former neighborhood stray who took up residence with us in 1999, and slowly allowed himself to be tamed. He’s never going to be a lap cat, but short of climbing into your lap, he’s happiest when getting petted or fussed over. Well, or eating, but that goes without saying.

He’s our #2 diabetic cat. In his last round of medical attention, all his remaining teeth were extracted to eliminate the periodic infections that made his diabetes harder to keep controlled. It gives him that funny little look.

Duke and Kili are hiding because our yard man is here this morning, so they’ve underground somewhere. Romeo is also missing in action, but I had a photo of him ready to go.
