Ms. Wally welcomes you to another Feline Friday!

She’s been up and down in recent weeks. When her appetite is down, I have a very hard time getting her interested in food. I’ve got a supply of baby food and canned people tuna that I break out when necessary to “prime the pump” a bit. Every few days I also try to get a piece of her prescription “appetite enhancers” down the throat before she figures out and goes in full defense mode. She has always been very good at expelling pills. Even when she was a tiny kitten, she was a terror. But if I can take her by surprise, I usually get it down. And these pills do work. For the next 2-3 days, she is much more interested in food.

Meanwhile, Romeo has been staying out of trouble. He’s still on border patrol, but his last round of minor scratches have all healed, and I haven’t found any new ones in the last two weeks or so.

The rest of the cats are pretty much on auto pilot.
