There was a light rain when we left the house early this morning for our daily walk to the beach.

It turned into a steady rain, a bit heavier, by the time we reached the Kaaawa Fire Station. We stopped for several minutes when we got down to the Swanzy Beach Park pavilion, then continued on despite the rain.

The rain continued to blow in off the ocean intermittently throughout the hour or so before we managed to get home again.

When it’s raining like this, there are fewer dogs out to greet us and the whole walk goes a bit faster.
