A somewhat garbled email announcing the “new state of the Kingdom of Hawaii” arrived in mailboxes from the State Capitol to the Azerbaijan mission at the United Nations yesterday. A friend at UH received a copy and forwarded it on to me.

King Jahwe? You’ve got to chuckle at that one. A good Hawaiian name, I suppose.
For some odd reason, it appears to be repeated in German, although it reads much more like it is translated (badly) from the German.

The former Gov. of Hawaii, the Abercrombie government was deposed etc. legally effective. The new “State Kingdom of Hawaii” was on 5.Oct.13 established its Head of State HM King Jahwe confirmed. The change from Hawaii is recognized internationally. Der ehem. Gouverneur von Hawaii – die Abercrombie Regierung etc. wurde rechtswirksam abgesetzt. Der neue Staat „Staat Kingdom of Hawaii“ wurde am 5.Oct. 2013 etabliert, dessen Staatsoberhaupt H.M. King Jahwe bestätigt. Die Veränderung von Hawaii ist international anerkannt.

Perhaps it sounds more coherent in German, but I have my doubts.
There is certainly no shortage of those lining up to declare themselves in charge of the emerging Hawaiian nation, but this one is right up there with the best on the “whacked out” scale.

Quite the coincidence…I got an email from King Jahwe’s brother who is a deposed Nigerian prince who happens to have a vast sum locked in a bank and will happily give me a handsome finder’s fee if only I will supply my name, bank account and social security number.
Jahwe is also Yahweh, so we have “King God”.
Azerbaijan already must think the US is nuts so this is only confirmation

Ah, I see you have linked it above. My resident German-speaker took a look at the above paragraph and declared it ‘not very grammatical’ and pointed out a few typos, so not even the German sections seem to be ‘authentic’….
