Ms. Wally welcomes you to another Feline Friday in Kaaawa.
After being out of town last week, and catching up this week, I hit Feline Friday without appropriate photos. So after our early walk down to the beach to watch the sunrise, I dug out a camera and started stalking cats, with moderate success.
I couldn’t get Duke to strike a pose. Harriet (also known as Ms. Harry) was preparing for a nap and really wasn’t interested in goofing off for the camera. Romeo was stalking around yowling about wanting to be out in the yard looking for a fight with Lumber, the wandering orange cat.
But Ms. Wally was sitting calmly next to her food dish waiting for a second course, which I gladly served. She’s still skinny, and still fussy about her food, but she’s pretty stable. With just a little coaxing, she eats enough to get by and, sometimes, even more. It often takes several tries. I’ve got half a dozen varieties of cat food, as well as several jars of baby food, to keep her interest. It almost always works. That’s good. And you can see that she is alert and still very much engaged. Also very good.

Glad to see your Ms. Wally is doing relatively well. Our 15-year-old Milagro, a Calico, is pretty much in Hospice care now. It’s so hard when they become elderly.
