It’s official

This is now officially our new morning walk.

As of sometime mid-morning yesterday, we no longer own a home in Kaaawa, so there’s no backtracking on our decision to move into town.

No, we haven’t really had second thoughts about the whole move, but there’s some unexpected weight of finality that accompanied the completion of our successful sale.

We’ve had friends who bought and sold many homes, moving frequently. Us, not so much. Until this move, we had been settled down in Kaaawa for just short of three decades.

But now the move is over, the deal is done, and this is the new morning ritual.

Not too shabby, overall.

You moved into town??!! You say you like it, but I know you really miss that drive to UH,

Yeah, I’m still among the living. Clearing out my books and found a copy of the Hawaii Pono Journal; made me think of you. Hope you are doing well.

By the way, that sunrise looks like you are in Kailua—not really considered “in town” in old Hawaii..
