Morning twilight at Waialae Beach Park

There was just a bit of light this morning when we walked down the block and through Waialae Beach Park to reach the sand. The coconut trees were beautiful, and a contrast to the heavy equipment over on the right that’s been dredging sand from the stream. Koko Head is visible in the background, a picnic table in the foreground. To the right, out of the picture, the boat is still grounded on the reef. This is the third morning that its been sitting there, grinding away on the coral reef. A heron, probably the same one we saw last week, flew away as we walked across the bridge to the other side. All in all, it was a very nice way to start the morning.
