Our Fourth of July started as most days, with a 3-mile walk along the beach near our home, down the street to the beach park, then along the sand in front of the exclusive Waialae Country Club, the Kahala Beach Apartments, past the Kahala Hotel and Resort, and then on along the edge of the golf course and beyond, until we run into the small park just before Wailupe Circle and turn around.

It was a beautiful morning, worth sharing.
