We were able to impose on friends again to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kaaawa, followed by an early walk down to the beach for the sunrise.

We ran into several other old friends while walking, heard concerns about residents of an alleged meth house moving into additional rental properties, realized that some of the familiar dogs are now very senior citizens, and noticed the windward weather takes a toll on houses before you realize what’s happening.

But sunrise on the beach was beautiful, as usual. It’s easy to get spoiled!
