We don’t know how long this is going to last, but…Toby is home after spending a long weekend in an emergency veterinary center. His eyes are clear and alert. He’s got a good appetite. I’ve been able to get the pills into him more or less on schedule. And we’ve managed to start him on daily subcutaneous fluid therapy without any major hassle. Those are all major victories.

We’ve decided not to worry about the longer term, and just try to enjoy each day at a time.
